Talking with Jillie Reil

Categoria: Film, TV, VIP

Gentle Jillie, in your texts you declare continuously your modesty but in your pictures sometimes you seem as a flourishing personnage in Botticelli's paintings. (Not by chance you inserted that pic... ) Is this your way of life, too?

I do consider myself a very down to earth and humble person full of humor. In fact, I thank God every day for all that has graced my life (well, maybe not those wrinkles that have started to appear). Upon entering my thirties, I began to appreciate my feminine presence and power. I realized that allowing my beauty to shine from within and embracing all that I am--spiritually, mentally, and physically--is not bragadocious, rather I am merely fufilling all that God has created me to be.

Is your irony natural or born watching to Sex and the City?

I think I am just one of many women that can relate to and laugh about the story lines in Sex and the City. If you date long enough, you are bound to have some crazy stories, especially if you are a bit of a free spirit with an open mind living in Hollywood. I am super easy going and fun, but I tend to forget that there are some seriously messed up men roaming around this planet that have no clue...but, the stories keep my friends entertained. Men here sometimes forget to tell you that they're married, gay, unemployed, living with their mother, or all of the above!

When was the first time u felt to be really an artist?

And what do you prefer to be, actress, model, dancer?

I think I was always an artist at heart from as early as I can remember. I was either making up skits, fashion shows, or dances with my friends. I went onto be my high school danceline captain and do some modeling in my teenage years, but those weren't realistic career goals in the middle of Minnesota. So, I went onto pursue an education and career in law throughout my twenties, until a pivotal change in my life (also known as a divorce) brought me to the West Coast to enjoy the beautiful weather. I originally landed in San Diego to attend law school, but the bright lights of Hollywood a few hours away lured me back to my true dreams in the arts. Although I was extremely passionate about dancing in my younger years, I have fallen in love with acting. Comedy is my favorite, which comes quite easy for me given that I was raised by a bunch of comedians...my family is hilarious! I already have a goofy humor about me (my mom calls me "Silly Jillie"), and I love to laugh and make people laugh.

How many secrets are in women's eyes? And in yours?

I am a believer that the eyes are the window to a person's soul. Women may be considered complicated creatures with a myriad of emotions, but you can usually gauge them by the eyes. So, if one pays close attention, a woman's secrets may be easily revealed. For instance, if you spot any of my acting headshots where I look REALLY angry, you can guarantee that I am thinking about an ex-boyfriend. HA!

What do you think as the best performance or project in your artistic life until now?

I had the honor of working with one of the greatest in comedy--Jerry Zucker (Airplane, Naked Gun, etc.) He directed me in a late-night sketch comedy pilot for TBS. I had an absolute blast on the project playing a porn star with a heart of gold (remember, I do have some clothes on and this is comedic television!)

What do you know or prefer about Italy?

I have been drawn to Italian men my whole life, and the wine isn't so bad either! Italy is one of the top travel destinations on my wish list, so I hope to make it there very soon to check it all out in person.

In this world and in your opinion what is the best dream to have? Hmmm, winning the lotto and traveling the world on my yacht stocked with fine wine and Italian men?

Seriously, the best dream in this world to have in that which you were born with in your heart. I think God gives each one of us a unique gift and passion for that gift. It took me a while to rediscover the dream in my heart that I perhaps pushed aside from childhood, but I realized that I would never be happy until I took a chance on my true desires. Intervista a Raffaela Maria Sateriale

Categoria: Arte e fotografia

 Benvenuta Raffaela!

d)      Mi dici tre pregi e tre difetti?Pregi: Altruista, coraggiosa, artista.

A Meeting with Tamika

Categoria: Film, TV, VIP

Gentle Tamika, very glad to interview you. Let's begin.

a) Intense and severe with your self: this is my first impression looking at you as artist. Can it be true?

I WOULD SAY TRUE. I AM CERTAINLY A PERFECTIONIST, AND EXPECT EXCELLENCE FROM MYSELF. AT TIMES WHEN I FALL SHORT, AS MOST HUMANS DO, I HAVE LEARNED TO CUT MYSELF SOME SLACK, HOWEVER.

b) When did u feel to be really an artist ?

WHEN I WAS IN SIXTH GRADE. I WAS ALWAYS WRITING SKITS AND FORCING MY SIBLINGS TO PERFORM IN THEM DURING FAMILY HOLIDAYS. IN REAL LIFE I AM A SHY INTROVERTED INDIVIDUAL. BUT WHEN I AM PERFORMING I REALLY COME ALIVE.

c) Do you prefer tv, cinema or theatre?

THEATER. I LOVE THE ENERGY OF THE AUDIENCE. I DRAW OFF OF IT.

d) What do you think as the best performance or project in your artistic life until now?

PERHAPS PLAYING THE LEAD IN THE PLAY ALMOST LOST IT ALL BY PLAYRIGHT KARAN STAGGERS. I HAD TO PLAY A REAL PERSON, WHICH IS SO MUCH HARDER THAN PLAYING THE OVER THE TOP PSYCHOTIC OR COMEDIC CHARACTERS I'VE PLAYED IN THE PAST. I WAS SIMPLY A MOTHER AND A WIFE TRYING TO HOLD HER FAMILY TOGETHER, DRAWING ON HER SPIRITUALITY FOR SUPPORT. IT WAS DIFFICULT AND REWARDING TO BE TONED DOWN, AND YET STILL DELIVER MY PERFORMANCE IN SUCH A WAY THAT WHEN I CRIED, THE AUDIENCE CRIED WITH ME.

e) What first: love or career? and why?

CAREER. MY DRIVE TO BE BETTER AND SUCCEED AT MY CAREER IS DRIVEN BY MY LOVE FOR THE PEOPLE AROUND ME AND MY DESIRE TO WANT TO TAKE CARE OF THEM. IN A WAY, I FEEL I PUT LOVE FIRST, BY PUTTING MY CAREER FIRST.

f) What is your knolewdge of Italy? What do you know of this country?

WELL, I KNOW IT LOOKS LIKE A BOOT. :-) I LOVE ITALIAN FOOD, AND I HAVE A GREAT FRIEND WHO IS FROM ITALY. I KNOW I WANT TO VISIT ONE DAY.

 THANKS, ROBERTO

Talking to paintress - Interview with Robin Maria Pedrero

Categoria: Arte e fotografia

Hello Robin!

 a) You wrote that u began to paint at 13, but when did u feel to be really an artist ?

I believe my knowing that I am an artist is more than being recognized for artistic talent at an early age, being an artist is part of who I am, the way I think, and respond to life. I was creative during my youth. I would sit for hours engulfed in our family's World Book Encyclopedias reading, looking at art and foreign lands. I love to travel and when I finally get to see certain pieces, most recently in March of 2008 I saw the Michelangelo's in Florence and The Sistine Chapel, I still remember the pages in my books where my desire began. At school I received awards for art and when one receives affirmations publicly it not only feels good, it inspires you to keep moving in that direction. At thirteen I was in my element at an oil painting class and it felt grown up, especially since I was the youngest student. You ask when, and I can't seem to define one day from the next as the beginning. As far as having my own business as an artist I began that in 1989.

b) What kind of tecnique do you prefer and why?

My technique has developed over the years through study, working intuitively, and experimentation. I like that soft pastel is immediate with no brushes to clean or preparations. I can stop and start at any time, using bold color. I delight to work in oil and will spend days just working in that medium. In both mediums I build the artwork in layers. Sometimes I work with no charcoal sketch. I envision the work. I start by placing color and blocking in. Sometimes I stay within my vision while other times I take a slightly new direction as it pleases me.

c) Someone usually says that eclecticism is not possible in art. What do you think about?

Your question makes me think of when people say there is nothing new. Each are how you think of it.I often try to look at many sides. Eclecticism is relative in regard to art and possible.

d) Is the sky, in your opinion, the beginning or the end? I mean in your paintings.

The sky itself is neither. It simply IS. In my paintings the sky is often a beginning because that is what inspired me first. It is often my main subject. I also begin at the farthest point back, which is usually the sky. I like your insight to my work regarding your asking me this question.

e) What is your personal dream in your artistic life, nowadays?

It is important to me that my work be true to myself, emotive and stand through time. I take joy in evoking feelings in my viewers as they behold my images. I wish to continue making art always. As I mature my artwork develops and changes with me. As far as my career it is my desire to have my work in galleries and museums world wide, to live the dream of being a successful flourishing artist.

f) What do you think as the best performance in your artistic life until now?

I am a visual artist, I have painted live but I don't consider myself a performer. My interpretation of your question is regarding my experience of executing a piece of artwork or personal achievement. My present oil in progress of my model Moon even at this stage, I would call it my best performance. I have used movement, color and executed a telling narrative. I am excited about this work.I am also pleased with my recent achievement of twenty four pieces of work on exhibition, which are fresh, color saturated and constitute a strong body of work.

 g) Could you say three your faults and three your qualities?

I consider it a fault that I have so many thoughts that I don't sleep, I often lie awake or go to the studio at 4 am. Another fault is that I sometimes get drained spending hours with many people. I need my alone time to get recharged. The third is that I am uncomfortable driving in busy city traffic. I also prefer to look at everything rather than drive! Qualities of mine are that I am persevering, hard working, and hopefully have contagious optimism or encouragement as I mentor others.

Best Wishes,

Robin Maria Pedrero

Few questions to a star - Cassandra Hepburn

Categoria: Film, TV, VIP

Gentle Cassandra, i read all your profile and your web site.

My first question in me was:

a) "Where is your head?" So you said in a video. You seem to look over the reality. In every picture or video of you, you look far away and you seem to feel very intense and deep. I could add that there is a bit sadness in your eyes. Is it true?

Ciao Roberto:

a) Yes I do constantly search for truth and meaning of life. Because I know that people can be better and that they are basically good. They just do stupid things sometimes. So that saddens me when I see the potential power of others and they waste it by trying to hurt or squash anothers abilities or successes instead of empowering that person and supporting it. I feel sometimes that people are in a state of confusion and that they have a veil that they can't see their own power, abilities and truth. I was always an artist from the very beginning of many lifetimes....because I loved creating effective esthetics that moved, motivated and inspired others! To me anything is possible in art because it is a postulated creation!

b) What do you think as the best performance in your artistic life until now?

b) My best performance is every role I take on I become no matter how big or small the role is....I enjoy creating the character and being that character! So to me each role is an opportunity to explore that beingness of that character and really be that character...that is where the art of acting is.

c) Could you say three your faults and three your qualities?

c) Three of my faults would have to be a little naive, impatient and flippant And my three qualities is very flippant, love to grant admiration to others and Pan determined.

d) What is your knolewdge of Italy? What do you like of this country?

d) I love Italy! Bellissima!!! I lived in Milano for about 6 months and traveled all over Italy...from Toscana, Firenza, Roma, Positano, Capri, Sardegna, Amalfi Coast and the people are so passionate in their speech, character and actions. I am in complete admiration of Italian people they have such a passion for living and it shows in everything they do from food, architecture, design, cars, romance and everything is with so much passion and interest...I really enjoyed visiting and staying in the places I have been to in Italy!!!

I hope this answers all the questions you had and thank you for asking.

Thanks a lot for your answers. A virtual white rose for you.

Bye, Roberto

Bacio,

Cassandra Hepburn

Few questions to a star - Jamie Mc Call

Categoria: Film, TV, VIP

 Hi Jamie,

first of all many thanks to you for accepting this little interview.

a) You wrote that u decided to become an actress or a 'star system personnage' only few time ago. But when did u feel to be really an artist ?

a) I've been a performance artist since I could walk - I started with Dance.

b) What kind of art would you prefer? Theatre, cinema or television? And what kind of performance do you think most difficult?

b) Film, then TV. I will do Theatre later - I'd love to perform a stint on Broadway one day. They are all challenging, but in very different ways...

c) Someone usually says that eclecticism is not possible in art. What do you think about?

c) Eclecticism in Art? I've never heard anyone say that's not possible. I think often that's what Art is. Every artist I know branches out into different forms of expression - you almost have to!

d)What is your personal dream in life, nowadays?

d) My personal dream/goal is to become a Global Inspirational Leader and role model.

e) What do you think as the best performance in your artistic life until now?

e) That's a very hard question to answer - my best. I performed on stage at the House of Blues here in Hollywood, dance. That was amazing!

My first self-published book of poetry, "Renaissance Girl - Vol I. Love.Hate.Sex.Romance." was a big milestone for me - very proud of that.

And with acting, my role in a film called "Ascension Day" was very powerful. It's not out yet for viewing, unfortunately...but I was there, I know what happened.

f) Could you say three your faults and three your qualities?

f) 3 faults: impatience, over-thinker, self-doubt

3 qualities: talent, strong spirit, intelligence

Thanks, Roberto!

INTERVISTA AD ALESSANDRA AULICINO

Categoria: Film, TV, VIP

Arte come scommessa o come rifugio?

Torniamo all'arte del teatro.

Grazie e a presto sui migliori palcoscenici!

 Grazie a te...belle domande..
